May News I have handed over the 'Godrevy' donation painting for the Ataxia uk charity, I'm starting a portrait of a morris dancer, to enter into a Ilfracombe exhibition, mid June. The 100cm x 100cm Rock regatta canvas, im putting aside for a rest, so I can concentate on some free style mark making, as I completed a sign commission for a camp site last week, and loved the break from the detailed work of the gig's. Three paintings are now on sale at 'The Blue Tomato Cafe' Rock, Cornwall, so Im delighted with that and looking forward to producing some new work later this month, I have taken some lovely photos down in Cornwall during my last visit over the bank holiday's, so my inspiration is refreshed once more April Save Our Sands, Hayle Community Action Group, Cornwall http//www.thisiscornwall.co.uk/news/Artist-aids-sands-project/article-3386665-detail/article.html The Hayle Estuary painting is complete and I handed it over on Sat 2nd of April the weather was sunny and St Ives looked Glorious, The painting is a donation to 'Save our Sands' group, as they can use the image to make merchandise to sell in order to raise funds and raise its profile, as due to insufficient sea defences sadly, it is being washed away...... Finally new 'Gig racing' paintings and Bespoke Hoody's are on the way, Items will be on sale from the Gig Racing Artist Site, the Hoody's will be a limited edition, on sale from the site below For my community & event based work please follow the link www.gigracingartist.co.uk

I did this free hand with no pencil lines, as I didnt have one although I never draw when I paint, I would have liked to have spent more time on the lettering with stencils, but I didnt have either.
They were very pleased on the site, Ive been invited back to do more " all of them" were the exact words, and I get to camp in return, bonus!

Hubby now wishes to visit campsites with tired looking signs and put me to work, lol!
If you would like me to come along to your business and paint your veiw, call me on 01271 349871
